Online Meter Reading: Online meter reading processes are below ;

This system requires a printer integrated handy termianal or handy terminal + printer, GPRS connection and a server.

The staff downloads the assignment charts to their handy terminals via GPRS when they are in the field.

Field staff starts reading the meters according to the assignment chart downloaded to their handy terminals. While reading the meters, they enter the meter number in the handy terminal. Depending on that number, the information is automatically downloaded to the handy terminal and the final consumption is entered in the handy terminal. Then the information calculated in the server realtime and the invoice is printed according to the info gathered from the server. All the subscribers are read this way.
If the GPRS connection is not available where the subscriber accommodates, then the information of the subscribers is collected on the handy terminal and as soon as the GPRS connection is established, the calculation is made right away.

Field staff does not need to go to the head quarter to transfer the data to the handy terminal from the server or vice versa. All calculation and the transfers are made via GPRS. This saves time for both staff in the field and for the company. Also the staff in the field is monitored in real time. (The readings, the consumed amount, etc.)

Natural Gas Meter Reading

All information of the subscribers (Abone no, index no, name, address of the subscriber, and the type of the subscription, value of the previous reading) is loaded to the handy terminal(CASIO IT-2000 or CASIO IT-3000) before going out to the field. When the personnel scans the barcode on the meter, he or she captures all information about the subscriber.

After the last value is entered to the system, the program calculates the amount to be paid and prints out an invoice right away. If there is any problem with the meter “meter condition code”(Meter seal is broken, cover is broken, meter out of order… )can be selected and saved to the system.

Because the invoice is printed right away, the payment process becomes very fast and short.

Water Meter Reading

All information is loaded to the water reading and payment program of the municipality and meter reading personnel can reach all necessary information of the subscriber during meter reading operation.

Personnel can make queries according to meter or index number. If there is any flaw with the registry information, this mistake can be corrected instantly during the process. Therefore flaws are prevented in the first step

Since the invoice is left right after the reading of the meter, the payment period is shortened compared to the old, former invoicing system.

Our company which is pioneer in Turkey in Electric Meter Reading has been operating in this sector for a long time. The Casio models which have been used in TEDAŞs in Anatolia, Istanbul and metropolises are carrying improving technologies to the field.

While printing out notices and invoices for the subscribers, our meter reading project prevents possible flaws which may occur during data transmission.

With ergonomic design and large screen the products which avoid data loss, unregistered subscriber process and late payment problems also avoid large number of personnel necessary to transfer data with manual meter reading operations.

Its sturdy construction enables it to withstand a drop from a height of 1.2 meters and the IP54 level sealing allows it to be used in dusty and wet environments. With BluetoothTM and IrDA both integrated as standard, and a PC card slot for optional use of Wireless LAN and WAN cards, a wide selection of wireless communication options is possible. This not only lowers the cost of the overall solution, but also increases productivity and reliability. All that is required is for a user to place a paper roll inside the paper roll holder, pull out a 2 or 3 cm length and then close the cover. This simple method saves time and ensures that the paper is always loaded correctly even when performed in the field.
An elastic rubber hand strap is included with the terminal. This hand strap is secured on the back of the terminal and enables users to hold it comfortably, eliminating the need to grip too firmly. This guards against both the likelihood of users dropping the IT-3100 and excessive fatigue during prolonged use.
